Dear Grethel
Thank you for your email. The Voters Guide is meant to be an objective evaluation of some of the leading parties using Biblical Principles. We are not here to be a voice for any particular party. We need to be constructively critical, so that parties will be provoked to re-evaluate their policies according to Biblical Principles.

Dear Jo-Ann
Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Thank you to the ACDP MPs and city councilors making a stand for life and family in Parliament and Cape Town. We are busy updating our Voters Guide for the 2019 elections. According to the ACDP’s previous “issues” section on your website, you stated that: “The ACDP recognises the need for affirmative action to address persistent inequalities that are racially based. However, we believe that there should be a sunset clause and the policy should be phased out once equality has been objectively achieved.” www.acdp.org.za/issues/ POLICY SURVEY Dear Sir/Madam
In order to assist our members to better understand the policies and principles of your party please be so kind as to answer the following questions: Dear Cheryllyn
Greetings in the precious Name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Thank you for all that you continue to do with standing for life and faith in parliament. I was quite surprised to read your Press Statement that “the ACDP salutes this great African leader and diplomat Kofi Annan… Dear Rev. Meshoe
Greetings in the precious Name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. The recent announcement by Minister of Home Affairs, Malusi Gigaba: "Banning of American hate preacher, Steve Anderson from entering South Africa..." received applause and approval from a surprising number of South African Christians. Just a short while ago, Christians in South Africa were horrified at the cancelling of meetings in Scotland for Angus Buchan. Outrageous and unfair accusations of hate-preacher and bigot, were published against Evangelist Angus Buchan at that time too. Dear Dr. Kenneth Meshoe
Greetings in the precious Name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. How are you and your family? You, your family, your congregation, the leaders of the Africa Christian Democratic Party, and your members and elected representatives, are regularly in our thoughts and prayers. As you know, from the very beginning, Africa Christian Action and the Christian Action Network have enthusiastically supported the ACDP in many ways Greetings in the precious Name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Thank you very much for your prompt response to our Christian Action Network Policy Survey. The Christian Action Network (CAN) represents 60-member organisations concerned for Biblical Reformation and Spiritual Revival. For over 24 years CAN (formerly United Christian Action) and its members have been committed to making a positive difference in social and moral issues. Since 1992 we have been researching and publishing regular Biblical Issues Voters’ Guides, in several languages. We have also assisted CAN affiliates in Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe to produce Biblical Issues Voters’ Guides for their countries. Christian Action Network hosts the SA Voters Guide website which, during the last elections, received over a million hits. We recently received an objection to Biblical Issues Voters' Guide from a COPE leader. Our response follows:
Thank you for you email concerning the Biblical Issues Voters' Guide. It is our sincere ministry to provide an accurate and objective Voters' Guide on the chosen Biblical Issues. I tried numerous times to contact members of the COPE Executive leadership. The Christian Action Network Policy Survey was sent numerous times to COPE Secretary General Charlotte Lobe. Ms Lobe claimed she was too busy to fill in the survey. I then sent the Voters Guide as it is to her and another contact she gave me and asked them to reply to me if they had any objections or corrections. I did not receive any response. OPEN LETTER TO THE DEMOCRATIC ALLIANCE REGARDING OBJECTIONS TO THE BIBLICAL ISSUES VOTERS' GUIDE8/20/2006 Democratic Alliance leaders have reportedly received "hundreds" of phone calls querying the DA's position on various Biblical Issues as depicted on the Christian Action Network Voters's Guide. The Christian Action Network has also received several objections from prominent DA leaders saying that we have "misrepresented" the DA on several issues.
A prominent DA leader requested that we change the Voters Guide to read "Yes/No" in the "Against Abortion", "Against Homosexual 'marriages'" and "For Capital Punishment of Murderers" columns, as the DA allows their members a "conscience vote" on these issues. Our response follows: |
