Greetings in the precious Name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Thank you for all that you continue to do with standing for life and faith in parliament.
I was quite surprised to read your Press Statement that “the ACDP salutes this great African leader and diplomat Kofi Annan…
Surely you are aware of his steadfast support for abortion as an essential human right to stabilise the population of this planet and his advocacy of so-called homosexual marriage. Kofi Annan must rate as one of the most corrupt and catastrophic failures ever to have been General Secretary of the UN. That is saying a lot, considering how corrupt and anti-Christian UN General Secretaries have tended to be.
The outrageous interference that Kofi Annan, as head of the Human Peacekeeping operations from 1993 to 1997, played in enabling the holocaust in Rwanda, is well documented in UN Commander General Romeo Dallaire’s “Shake Hands with the Devil” book.
Kofi Annan’s role in protecting UN peacekeeping forces and human traffickers while he was General Secretary, is also documented in Kathryn Bolkovac's “Whistleblower” book.
That is not even referring to the Oil-for-Food and Congo peacekeeping scandals which Kofi Annan was responsible for.
Ten years after the Rwandan Holocaust, when pressed by the Rwandese for some kind of apology, the best Kofi Annan could come out with was: “The world failed you!”
Numerous friends of Christian Action who support the ACDP, because of our Biblical Issues Voters Guide and Christian Action magazines, have contacted me in confusion and astonishment at your statement praising such an idol and key-player in the secular humanist New World Order.
You are surely aware that Kofi Annan was no friend of Christians and was rather the friend of persecutors of Christians, such as Fidel Castro and Robert Mugabe.

At one of our Reformation Society meetings my attention was drawn to the ACDP’s press statement condemning Malema’s racist comments made against South African Jewish people.
Why only Jewish South Africans? They asked. Some have asked whether the ACDP should rather be named the African Zionist Democratic Party, as you seem very quick and consistent to speak up for Israel, who have their own Embassy, Defence Force and phenomenal public relations network, but what about your primary constituents of Christian South Africans? Surely all racist remarks, which are overwhelmingly coming against white Afrikaaners and in particular, farmers, should be our primary concern.
We have also received a number of complaints and queries as to how the ACDP could congratulate ZANU-PF on their election victory! As one of our supporters wrote to us with your press statement on attachment: “This is a really stupid statement from ACDP. They should know better than to think that this election result was not rigged!”
Indeed, none of the pastors we work with in Zimbabwe believe it was a free and fair election. The MDC challenged the outcome in court. I have heard many previous supporters of the ACDP expressing frustration with what they see as a lack of discernment in such statements.
We recognise that you have a difficult and complex responsibility in a volatile situation. Please be assured of our ongoing prayers and concern.
Yours for Faith and freedom
Dr. Peter Hammond
